Since launching operations in 1990, our fundamental goal has always been to
pursue work in areas that match ASL's
core talents and that are personally and professionally rewarding to our
staff. We repeatedly demonstrate our skills in managing large
multi-disciplined teams of subcontractors and consultants. This can only be
achieved through effective communications, monitoring techniques, and
management controls. Customer Satisfaction is
central to our daily operations.
Quality Assurance
ASL strives
to ensure all its products and services are produced with the highest degree of
quality. This begins with people with excellent skills using the best tools to
do the job. In addition, ASL uses
a Senior Review Board (SRB) to oversee the management and product quality of
all its programs. The SRB is made up of senior staff members who review
ongoing programs for performance, cost, and schedule compliance. If problems
are indicated, the SRB takes action to provide additional expertise or other
company resources to solve the problems and ensure the program will be
completed with the guaranteed performance on schedule and within cost.
Cost Controls
Program costs are carefully controlled by ASL senior
management. We have on staff a dedicated Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
with more than 16 years industrial experience. Direct and indirect costs are
carefully monitored using the industry standard MAS90 accounting software for
financial reporting and job costing. We continually upgrade the software
system to remain compliant with current accounting standards. ASL's
accounting system and financial ability to perform on government cost-reimbursement
type contracts have been successfully audited and approved by the Federal
Government.
